Raingear Irrigation: COVID-19 Policy Update – 05/11/2020
As we move into a second set of UK restrictions due to COVID-19, we would like to update all our customers on our current policies. Raingear Irrigation Ltd are pleased to say that as part of the agricultural supply chain we are regarded as an essential business. Therefore, we are remaining fully open and conducting business as usual. Our office on Scottow Enterprise Park remains open for trade, with customers restricted to the lobby and requested to maintain 2 metre distance from staff and each other. Our fitters are still hard at work on site, and again we request customers remain distant from them as much as possible to avoid the possibility of sharing any infections. We hope that everyone stays safe and well in this time and we thank you for your continued custom and support, it is greatly appreciated.
Raingear’s Brexit Preparations:
As the UK prepares to leave the European Union, Raingear is preparing as best we can to make sure we continue to be able to source and supply goods from overseas partners as easily as possible. In the event of a no-deal on 31st December 2020, the UK will most likely have to trade under WTO laws with Europe, which could unfortunately mean increased shipping costs, customs duties and longer lead times. Please be aware that we will try to keep you up to date with this as much as possible, but that Raingear Irrigation Ltd cannot be held responsible for any changes in shipping times or costs due to unforeseen Brexit related changes.
